You control a man named Stanley, in the premise described above, and there is a narrator dictating what you should have Stanley do. It is more of an interactive movie-storytelling-thing. It’s not so much a video game in the traditional sense. The Stanley Parable is originally a mod for the source-engine for Half-Life 2. But one day, something very peculiar happens – he steps outside his cubicle, and everyone seems to be gone. Stanley works in an office where he receives instructions that come through a screen, and he presses the buttons that the screen tells him to press. ![]() The Stanley Parable is about a man named Stanley.
